We really enjoyed our stay at rolling brook. Rooms were clean and updated. It was a good mix of new and keeping the vintage motel feel. Community kitchen on the water was awesome. Community fire pit was good for chit chatting. It’s in walking distance to everything good. Especially the wheels of time museum. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely going back.
Nothing fancy but great spot for a good night's rest. Easy check in, friendly, quick. Discount for paying cash! The king bed was SO COMFY! Small room but clean. The bath tile reminded me of my grandma's. My only complaint is no coffee pot but with the strict cleaning rules now, I'm sure that's probably why. Great location, quiet.
Great little country motel with wonderful staff!! My best friend and I just wanted a weekend away and it was perfect!! The weather wasn't the best so wasn't able to have a fire in the pit, but sitting by the rolling creek was so relaxing. Had such a great experience we are coming back in 3 weeks!!
We stayed for the weekend. Had a great time. Kathy and Patrick were great hosts. The fire pit and Creek made for a nice evening outside. The room was a little small but it was clean and the bed very comfortable. We will be looking forward to our next trip.
I was going to Maggie valley on a motorcycle trip. Stopping in Maggie valley for Dale's Wheels through Time museum. The hotel was right next door. Nice clean rooms. Awesome! Fire pit and chairs and firewood available. No charge. A nice fat Brook running through the property. Great breakfast joint across the street. Legends bar and grill down the road. Maggie valley is beautiful. Thelma the hotel owner has the sweetest voice on the phone and Even a more of a sweetheart in person. Her daughter who runs the hotel is pretty awesome Also. Great experience will stay again 5*
Let me just say that we did not stay here but our friends did. We had the best time at this motel. Jake is awesome!!!! He made us feel so welcome. We spent more time at this motel than we did our motel and the next time we are in Maggie Valley we will stay with Jake. The rooms are super clean. The creek and the outdoor areas are fabulous. They have a creekhouse (a little clubhouse on the creek) that is amazing. Thank you Jake! There was nothing wrong with where we stayed. I even gave a good review but Jake has done something extra special and we will stay at Rolling Brook next time.
We have been coming to this same place to hotel at for the past 3 years, it is such a hidden little gem and a lovely place to be at! It has cute little rooms, clean and smells good everytime. My child loves the stream, its quiet area. Close to surrounding area! 10 out of 10, and will only stay here anytime we come into town. Super highly reccomend!
I stayed once by myself back in the early 2000's. I loved it. I stayed again with my male sibling. Beautiful! I see it has changed very much since then. If I ever go back to Maggie Valley, I would love to stay there.
